Papa's in the Hall of Fame
We headed to my old high school cafeteria tonight to celebrate my Dad and 4 of his buddies getting into the Athletic Hall of Fame for doing the chain for all of the home games. My Dad's been doing it for 35 years and said in his comments they'll keep it up as long as they can "hold their poles".
The snow had just started as we strolled in so I tried for an artsy shot and I might have succeeded if the extra large recycling bins hadn't been there.
Cute one of KT & June
Remember the white table cloth? Now not so white. Can you see the blue ink pen amongst the trash? Oh well - it treats and pens kept the kids reasonably quiet during the 1 1/2 of reading the highlights of the inductees.
Proud of you Dad and so glad we could all be there to cheer! Love, Us

These boots are made for walkin'
Then they did some stomping in our very own creek made by the melting snow in our front yard
We are so thankful for our first gorgeous Saturday in a million moons :)

Wisconsin Dells Getaway
Our wonderful friends Mark, Cathy & family knew just what we needed - a getaway from the job search! We had a great 48 hours of fun! Cathy is a great travel planner if you're planning to take a trip. She found us the most beautiful 2 room suite for a great deal and she planned our meals and shopping list so we were all set to feed our tired kids after the water-craziness!
Here's our crew with M, C and Jake & Emma
With 3 water parks and an indoor play area - the kids voted their favorite activity was playing on "Bubba's Bed". Our super cool room had a queen bed with a single bed loft on top and a cozy corner for SBG's Pack'nPlay
The cutest dish washers - Emma & SBG
Chillin at the end of day one
The 2-person tubes were a hit. SBG loved the chauffer service. I don't know the many with the very pale abdomen :)
After swimming (or floating) hard, a poolside pit stop was always necessary
and some snacks tooThanks again guys for a great trip! My kids can't wait for another 'cation really soon!

A Visit to Gram & Gramps
2 1/2 hours in the car but many smiles along the way
And sweet faces from Mini and Nanny and goofy ones from my precious SBG that I couldn't resist posting now that I'm up and running (yep computer crises are running in my family this week)
