Mommy & Me Plus Auntie, Cousin, & Nanny too

Aunt Karoline invited SBG and me to the Halloween edition of their Mommy & Me class.
Here are our sweet girlies! The Polar Bear and the Hawkeye

The mommies and the babies all posed for a pic and then the teacher invited SBG to join in too. As you can see she was a little hesistant but she obediently stood by her Kah-line :)

After the pictures and the parade to the nurses' stations, we learned some really great new songs with actions. SBG loved all of the crazy moves and I'm sure I'll be feeling the "high in the sky" move in my back tomorrow morning. Before we left we got to weigh our little cherubs - SBG at 23 months 29 lbs. 3 oz.

Thanks again for inviting us Lions & Woo-Woo! We're looking forward to the Christmas party. Maybe they can wear their matching dresses :)

Princess Shoes

Hard to believe that 6 months ago I wondered if she would ever learn to walk and now she's on to high heels.
It was a little tricky with the tights causing some sliding but she's a braveheart.
As you can see, my girly girl is loving them.

If you have a little girl, I would recommend a Sam's Club trip. 6 pairs of princess heels for $19.99 :) Thanks Nanny!

Proud of our Tree

This is the first year our tree has really turned red. The kids comment on it every day. Bubba always has to check it when he wakes up. Good thing I took this picture yesterday because with the 50 mile per hour wind gusts we've had today many of the leaves are scattered around the neighborhood.
I'm so glad I heeded someone's advice and planted a little tiny maple one of our first years in our house.

A Great Day for Carving

You never know what weather you are going to get in October so even though Thad is gone for work to Madison this weekend I decided to have us tackle the pumpkin carving in this gorgeous 70s and sunshine.

Everyone was very gung-ho when it came to selecting them at Drugtown but when Bubba found out that it was sticky and gunky inside the pumpkin he wanted nothing to do with the project. So as SBG napped and Bubba rode his bike I sat on a bag chair in the driveway and scooped and carved in the lovely sunshine.

They were both interested in posing with the finished product. (so hard to get to pleasant-faced kids in the same pic)

Bubba suggested I put "their numbers" on the backs of their pumpkins so here they are with those.

Oktoberfest Parade

A perfect weather day and a great spot in the sunshine made for a great parade morning. And accidentally connecting with your best buds in the parking lot made it even better.
Here's the whole crew.

A Picnic in Honor of our New Neighbors :)

Our new state neighbors came for a quick visit this weekend. We hadn't seen them since May and most importantly we hadn't gotten to meet Mac. Aunt Klions and Uncle Yee hosted us in grand style once again in their great yard.
