Here are my tired kids on the way home. Don't tell DHS but we switched SBG's seat to forward facing today. She loved stretching her legs and actually see where we were going.

A little help from our friends - the ServiceMaster guys

We awoke yesterday morning to squishy carpet, a non-working sump pump, and just a little stress. Here is our attempt at drying things out on our own. Soon we realized we needed some reinforcements. They did lots of evaluating with all of their equipment and left 9 fans to roar 24/7 until atleast Monday.

Strawberry Applesauce

The same friend who encouraged me to get back to blogging also said that her daughter, who is 2 weeks younger than SBG, loves strawberry applesauce. So I thought I would have her try some. I opened it, turned around to answer the phone and when I turned back she was feeding herself minus the spoon.

Wres-kling

A kind friend "gently encouraged" me to get off my duff and get blogging again. Here are a few fun ones of my kids "wres-kling" as Bubba calls it. I know it will wear off but it is such a fun novelty to see them actually playing together.

Caramel Apples

Our neighbor invited us over to make homemade caramel apples 2 Friday nights ago. It was quite the adventure. Kudos to Dawn for making the caramel from scratch and not unwrapping a single Brach's wrapper :)
