McCoy Criddle Murray

Baby Mac arrived yesterday at 3:35 pm Arizona time. He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and is 19 inches long. He is doing great and the word is that he looks like his big brother and his hair may be a bit reddish. I am anxiously awaiting a pic or two to share with you. Thank you so much for praying for the new family of 5.

I forgot to explain about his name. McCoy is my Grandma Criddle's maiden name.

Today is the day

my new nephew arrives in Arizona. I know that Scott and Katie would covet your prayers for an uneventful c-section. I'm so excited to see pictures of him, hear the name that's been kept secret, but most of all to hear that every little part is working just the way God intended!

His 1st Real Putter

Bubba got his first real putter from Papa on Thursday morning. His technique is a cross between playing pool and hockey but it seemed to work for him. Coachability is something we are working on with him. Toward the end of the outing he let me show him how "those guys do it on TV".
SBG heading over to check out the guys
Looks like she is high-tailing it out of there but I'm not really sure why
A quick pose before heading for the car
Looking forward to round 2 Papa :)

The 5th of July

My cousin and his wife have the absolute best backyard for hosting our family. It's all fenced in with a million fun things for the kids. Thanks again Chad & Katie for hosting our 2nd annual Sorensen 4th of July!

The highlight was definitely the treehouse slide in to the pool. Nanny spent 3 hours catching, lifting, and flipping kids. I don't know how she got out of bed for church on Sunday :)
Bubba made certain that everyone knew that he did not need anyone to catch him

Super Model Kate aka Cousin-in-law Katie with Norah
SBG and Norah having a little chat - who knows what it's about but SBG looks serious :)

Bubba perfecting his slide-into-water-but-don't-get-your-hair-wet-move :) while Cousin Soren skidaddles out of the way

Slip sliding awaySand was also an integral part of the day
Oh I almost forgot - the true highlight was what we spotted as we turned off the interstate heading to the party - a hay baler!!! Bubba said "Mom, mom - can you believe it? "

We have our new beautiful park but what was the main attraction for 6 little boys - the water drain for the neighborhood :) Kari, Todd & Will head out to check on everyone.

Here's our sweet girl enjoying the slide in a dress and unders made for me by my Grandma Esther thirty-some years ago.Practicing a new trick her learned from her brother - swinging like SupermanBubba, Josephine & Grace settle in for the fireworks

Thanks to Nanny for the decorations and the SBG-care. We couldn't have done it without her.

We had a such a great morning at the park. Here's some of the boys taking a break for lunch.
Bubba, David, Joel, & Silas

An unrelated pic of Bubba on a ride at the BBQ Roundup on Sunday. Just loved this smile and it's not always that I catch it.

My Great Garage Sale Find

I'm getting addicted to girly clothes. Here is my new favorite $3 find. Maybe Katie is rubbing off on me?
Nanny offers a treat to get her to stop twirling so I can get a pic.

Batter Up

Bubba was placed on the CUBS for his first time playing TBall.

Coach Chris give him some pointers when it was his turn to bat
Check out that form

They are still learning the finer points of the game. As you can see the ORIOLE is telling him to stop because the plate is full. Coach Chris is yelling from the side for James to head to 2nd. Finally he did.

Look who's on 1st now :)
